AFCON 2024: Rise to Brave Warriors

AFCON 2024: RISE TO BRAVE WARRIORS: Vetumbuavi Charles Hambira first caught the eye of top coaches during his time playing for the Otjinene All Stars in 2011. He then joined Black Africa Football Club between 2011 and 2012 before moving to Tura Magic, where he played until the 2019 season. It was at Tura Magic that Hambira got his first Brave Warriors call-up in 2017. He has since featured in top clashes for the national team, scoring important goals in the process. Hambira is a natural centre-back but can play as a right-back too. Hambira is part of Collin Benjamin’s 23-man final squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.
