Satellite Investment donates borehole worth N$79 000
News in short
Satellite Investment Drilling Services recently donated a borehole valued at over N$70 000 to Dr Sam Nujoma Combined School in the Zambezi Region. The school has reportedly been without potable water since its inception about 80 years ago.
"My dream in the next three to four months is to ensure that every teacher has a running tap in their courtyard,” the company's owner Alfred Lutaka said.
The region's deputy education director Norah Maemeko-Munembo extended a word of gratitude to Satellite Investment for its generous donation. “This valuable contribution is crucial, and we want to assure you that we will do everything possible to ensure that the donation remains operational and benefits the learners of Dr Sam Nuyoma Combined School. I also want to urge the principal, management and school board to ensure that our academic results show significant improvement. Now that one of our biggest challenges has been addressed, we can continue to provide quality education,” she said.
