Namibia rolls out national polio vaccination drive

Swakopmund constituency councillor Victor Maswahu yesterday officiated the official launch of the national polio vaccination campaign in the Erongo region at Hanganeni Primary School.

The nationwide campaign will be targeting children aged 0 to under 10 years.

Each child will receive two drops of the novel oral polio vaccine, regardless of previous vaccination status, in an effort to ensure full coverage and prevent the spread of the polio virus.
