JUST IN: 'Over a million' health passports available, ministry says
In a statement this week, the health ministry announced that the central medical stores have more than one million ordinary health passports. Staff at healthcare facilities and clinics have been urged to request passports from there.
The ministry made the announcement in response to revelations that citizens are required buy exercise books when their health passports are full. Other complaints made to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Gender Equality, Social Development and Family Affairs dealt with dilapidated healthcare facilities and medicine shortages.
