DARE TO SHARE YOUR BLOOD STORY: The Blood Transfusion Service of Namibia (NamBTS) has launched an innovative competition aimed at uncovering powerful real-life stories about blood donation that could inspire others. Participants are invited to share their experiences creatively – through a video, poem, song, play, film, or animation.
"Whether you’ve received blood, donated blood, or know someone whose life was saved by it, we want to hear your story", NamBTS said.
The top entries stand a chance to win exciting cash prizes. The first prize winner will receive N$10 000, while the second prize winner will walk away with N$6 000. The third prize winner will be awarded N$3 000. In addition, special commendation prizes of N$1 500 each will also be up for grabs.
Winners will be announced on 12 June ahead of World Blood Donor Day on 14 June.
