Oshikuku mayor re-elected

Oshikuku mayor Julia Endjambi was re-elected yesterday to serve for another 12 months.
She will be deputised by Petrus Petrus, while Williams Sheende retained his position as chairperson of the management committee.
Veronica Mwenyo and Linus Mingeli have been elected as members of the management committee.
The only members not representing the Swapo Party are Independent Patriots for Change’s Rosalia Kalimbo and Petrus Nambinga, who were elected as ordinary members of the council.
“As we collectively accept our responsibilities today, we must hit the ground running as our communities expect us to deliver quality services that respond to their needs and address their challenges promptly," Endjambi said.
