NaTIS office opens at Helao Nafidi

A NaTIS office recently opened in Helao Nafidi in the Ohangwena Region.
This, the works and transport ministry said, is part of efforts to bring services closer to the people.
Residents can now also sport Helao Nafidi number plates on their vehicles: N - HN.
The centre will cater for the registration and licencing of vehicles, annual renewal of vehicle licences, renewal of driver's licences and testing and issuing of learner's licences, he said.
“As per the decentralisation policy of the government and specifically the aim to bring services closer to the communities in the regions, the ministry and Road Authority continues to pursue the objective of inclusiveness,” minister John Mutorwa said.
He added that Helao Nafidi residents and those from the surrounding areas will no longer have to travel long distances to access NaTIS services.
