#JustIn: IPPR calls for stronger procurement unit

The Institute of Public Policy and Research (IPPR) has once again called for the role of the Public Procurement Unit (PPU), which is currently a directorate within the ministry of finance, to be strengthened. Its director's role should also be strengthened to an executive level to ensure less corruption with regards to state procurement practices.
