Omeya Golf Club presented round 7 of its 2025-2026 Race to Omeya series last Saturday. With only one round still to be played, players are locked in a battle to put themselves in contention for the final team selection.

Organisers have expressed thanks to Muis Burger of Strymar Trading for sponsoring round seven of the series.

Overall winner: Cliffie de Wit (40 points).

A Division men: 1 Eugene Lofty Eaton (39 points, count-out), 2 Leonard Beukes (39), 3 Willie Prinsloo (38).

B Division men: 1 Dmitri Renton (39), 2 Albert de Klerk (37), 3 Lukas Dreyer (35).

Seniors: 1 Herman Mouton (33), 2 JP van Dyk (31).

Juniors: 1 JP le Grange (38); 2 Declan Renton (38).

Women: 1 Dina Holtzhausen (39); 2 Carlin Schumann (39).

Prizes for shots nearest to the pin were awarded to AJ van Wyk (hole 4) and Dmitri Renton (hole 17).
