Zassha Frieda Hangula describes teaching as her passion.

"Growing up, our house was always full of children, especially on holidays, and because I was the oldest, I had to take up the responsibility of always making sure everyone was well fed and taken care of and also making sure that we all abided by my great-grandmother's rules".

Hangula employs various strategies to foster student engagement and active participation in the classroom.

She believes it is important to understand the different learning abilities of her learners.

With both slow and fast learners and each child possessing unique traits, pinpointing and comprehending their needs can occasionally pose difficulties.

Nonetheless, due to her genuine passion for her profession and her patience as a teacher, she has acquired the knowledge and insight to assist each child according to their individual needs and abilities. She emphasises the importance of teachers maintaining discipline to uphold school regulations and ethical principles within the learning environment and to ensure each learner has a safe learning environment.
