"The love I had for the sport, I never liked losing, and that motivated me to work really hard," Coleman explained. His drive to improve his fighting skills and fitness levels was fuelled by a desire to achieve his goals and be the best.For Coleman, discipline is the cornerstone of success. "You have to set goals for yourself and focus on them, working really hard to actually achieve them, especially on the days you feel like you don't want to work at all," he advised. His dedication to self-improvement is evident in his rigorous training regimen and his continuous pursuit of excellence.Never give upFor those who have goals and are still working towards them, Coleman offered valuable advice. "Always try to avoid procrastination. If you have to do something, do it when it must be done," he said.He emphasised the importance of patience, acknowledging that challenges are inevitable. "There are going to be a lot of challenges. If you don't succeed at first, don't give up. Work harder and come back stronger."Drawing from his past experiences, Coleman underscored the value of learning from others. "Always keep an eye out on the people who are better than you at the moment. Train with them, work with them. There will always be something to learn, no matter how good you are," he advised.His humility and willingness to learn have been key factors in his growth as an athlete.
