Namibians nominated for Worldwide Vets Golden Star Award
SHORT NEWS
Three local environmentalists have been nominated for the Worldwide Vets Golden Star Award.
The award recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to animal welfare and wildlife conservation. The nominees are Kelsey Prediger of the Pangolin Conservation & Research Foundation (PCRF), as well as Ulf Tubbesing and Mariska Bijsterbosch of Wildlife Vets. Their nominations ensure strong representation for Namibia on the international stage, and everyone can support them with a vote.
The ten finalists will be announced today, with voting for the overall winner open until 1 December. The winners will be announced on 5 December.
Now in its fourth year, the award is presented by the international animal welfare organisation Worldwide Vets.
“We operate globally to promote better animal welfare,” the organisation states.
