#JustIn: Zambezi at its deepest level

The Zambezi River levels have reached their highest point for the season in the past week.

According to the latest flood bulletin from Namibia's hydrological services, the river levels are still steadily rising and on Thursday morning flowed at about 5.38m deep at Katima Mulilo. Approximately 3 454m3 flows past any given point in the river every second.

In contrast, the levels of the Okavango River are gradually decreasing and it flowed at about 5.39m deep past Rundu on Thursday morning.

The lower parts of the Orange River flowed at about 0.63m deep at Blouputs, while the Kunene River flowed at approximately 272.6m3 per second at Ruacana.
