#JustIn: EBIKES4AFRICA pilot project launched

GIZ country director Tobias Gerster addressed the launch of the EBIKES4AFRICA pilot project. The program includes 18 students from Namibia University of Science and Technology and 18 from University of Namibia, selected via a rigorous process. Students will use electric bicycles for daily commuting for three months, evaluating efficiency, safety, and transportation costs. Success could lead to expanded bicycle use citywide.
