Putt for progress: Annual Ace Golf Day kicks off 26 June
The highly anticipated Annual Ace Golf Day is teeing off on Thursday at the Windhoek Golf & Country Club under the theme 'Putt for Progress' and excitement is in full swing!
Hosted in support of the African Child Development Trust (ACDT), this inaugural sold-out event brings together 21 teams for a day of connection, fun and purpose.
"We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our incredible sponsors and partners: Power Line Africa, Afriwallet, Enjoy Travel Namibia, Synergi, Shell, Bartsch Architecton, Emeraldsand Platforms, MyEticket, Mannie’s Bike Mecca, Intouch, Giant Bicycles, The Rare Smokey Mare, Sportswrap, NTV, Network Media Hub and DZ Golf," said Sharnay Botha, a ACDT trustee.
Proceeds from the day will support early childhood education through the development and distribution of curriculum-aligned books for Grades 0 to 3 across Namibia.
"With exciting on-course activations, auctions and great prizes, the Annual Ace is more than a golf day, it’s a movement for change. Thank you, Namibia, for backing our mission to 'Putt for Progress'," Botha said.
