NUST to advertise Naomab's position

The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) has announced plans to advertise the position of vice chancellor, as the current incumbent, Erold Naomab, reaches the end of his contract on 31 December.
NUST council chairperson Dr Leake Hangala confirmed that Naomab has been duly notified and that all statutory formalities have been completed. Naomab has held the position since January 2021.
Additionally, the university will be advertising two deputy vice chancellor positions.
The contract of the deputy vice chancellor for teaching, learning and technology is set to expire in June this year. Meanwhile, an acting arrangement has been put in place for the deputy vice chancellor for research, innovation and partnerships to ensure operational continuity.
