The results of the 2025 October/November Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) and Advanced Subsidiary (NSSCAS) national examinations will be officially released on Tuesday next week, the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture has announced.
The ministry’s executive director Erastus Haitengela said the marking and processing phase had been completed, confirming that “the marking and processing of examination data for the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary and Advanced Subsidiary Levels for the 2025 October/November National Examinations have been completed”.
He said the results for both full-time and part-time candidates would be formally announced at 10:00 at the Government Office Park auditorium on Luther Street in Windhoek.
According to Haitengela, candidates will be able to access their results electronically shortly after the announcement. “The official release of results for both full-time and part-time candidates will take place on Tuesday, 13 January 2026,” he said, adding that the ministry’s website and SMS services would become active at 12:15 on the same day.
Results will be available online via the ministry’s website, where candidates will need to enter their candidate number and date of birth.
Alternatively, candidates may request their results by sending their full candidate number via SMS to 99099 or via WhatsApp to 085 785 6231.
Haitengela reminded candidates that their numbers are printed on their admission permits and urged them to keep these readily available when checking results. “Upon sending the SMS request, your candidate number and corresponding results will be displayed on your cellphone screen,” he said.
He further advised that regional education offices will provide access to printed broadsheets during official working hours, but stressed that this would be done under strict controls. “In line with data protection regulations, no results documents containing candidates’ names will be publicly displayed or posted,” Haitengela said. Access to printed broadsheets, he added, would only be provided “in a controlled and supervised manner through the Regional Directorates”.
Individual statements of results will be distributed through schools and examination centres where candidates wrote. Haitengela encouraged candidates to contact their respective regional examination offices to confirm whether statements had already been delivered to schools.
Regional examination offices across all 14 regions will handle enquiries, including in Khomas, Erongo, Oshana, Omusati, Ohangwena, Kavango East and West, and Zambezi.
The ministry said the measures are aimed at ensuring orderly access to results while safeguarding candidates’ personal information.
