Would-be criminals arrested for illegal firearm

Four men were arrested at a guesthouse in Ongwediva on Wednesday after they were found in possession of unlicenced firearm and housebreaking implements.
According to the police, the suspects were found with one unlicenced pistol in a Silver Toyota Corolla with an Ondangwa registration plate, and welded metal suspected to be used in housebreaking.
They are all aged between 24 and 26.
The police further recovered ammunition and one empty cartridge in the gun’s chamber, as well as three knives.
Police investigations continue.
