Police seek help to locate stolen Walvis Bay car

NEWS IN SHORT

A housebreaking and vehicle theft that took place in the Tutaleni area of Walvis Bay recently has left the owner of a grey Nissan Note distraught.

According to the police, the owner parked his vehicle at his house around noon on 8 December and saw it still parked there at 22:00, before going to bed.

However, when he woke at 06:00 the next morning, he discovered that his house had been broken into and his vehicle stolen.

He also told the police that the kitchen door had been opened using a key he had lost three weeks earlier, which was still inserted in the padlock.

Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Deputy Commissioner Erastus Iikuyu at 0812464757, Detective Inspector Mansie Amamub at 0817638188, or the nearest police station.
