The Namibian Police have launched a search for two individuals who have gone missing in separate incidents in Katutura, urging the public to assist with any information that may help locate them.

The missing persons were identified as Taleinge Shiyukifeni Natangwe (27) and Beata Matheus (22).

Natangwe was last seen on 25 December 2025 in the Okahandja Park area. Police said he had been at home before his relatives travelled north for the festive season.

When they returned in January, he was missing. Three months later, the family still do not know what happened to him.

He is described as an Oshiwambo-speaking man of average build with a brown complexion.

Matheus was reported missing earlier this month. She was last seen on 9 March at the Okuryangava Stop-and-Shop bus stop, where she is believed to have boarded a bus bound for Ondangwa.

At the time, she was wearing a white T-shirt, mustard-coloured trousers and black shoes. She is also described as Oshiwambo-speaking, of average build and brown complexion.

Police say all efforts by the families to trace the two have so far yielded no results.

Members of the public with any information that could assist the investigation are urged to contact Detective Inspector Sinvula on 081 369 1869 or 061 209 6218.

Investigations into both cases are ongoing.
