OUCH: A woman got stuck on top of a gate in Windhoek's Hakahana area on Wednesday night, severely injuring her thigh after the gate’s sharp bars pierced her after a failed attempt to allegedly steal car parts from a vehicle parked at a private residence.
Eyewitnesses said the woman, who is well-known in the area for targeting Volkswagen mirrors for resale, was trying to escape a dog before getting trapped on the gate. She was rescued from her painful situation by City of Windhoek paramedics, who arrived at the scene around 00:20.
