#namsunnews Former cop's trial postponed

A former police officer's case of rape and human trafficking of his biological daughter was postponed until 15 July 2024 for submissions before conviction in the Windhoek High Court today. During cross-examination earlier this month, the father admitted to having sexual intercourse with his daughter, and she also admitted to falling pregnant and then being persuaded by him to terminate it. He also claimed that while incarcerated in 2013, she sent him a message admitting that she had developed a sexual attraction towards him.
