Minor stabs teen to death

A 16-year-old boy on Tuesday allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old man to death in Onangolo (Onawa) village in the Omusati Region’s Anamulenge constituency.
Police crime coordinator Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho said the deceased has been identified as Thomas Johannes.
Although the suspect has been arrested, he is only expected to appear in the Outapi Magistrate’s Court after he has been screened by a social worker and formally charged, he said.
"It is alleged that the deceased was playing with his friend, the suspect, when an argument arose between the two. It is further alleged that suspect stabbed the deceased with a kitchen knife.”
According to Simaho, Johannes was rushed to the Outapi State Hospital, where he died upon arrival.
The deceased's body was transported to the Okahao police mortuary for a post-mortem.
Police investigations continue.
