Man stabbed, dies on the way to hospital

A 28-year-old man died on Sunday after he was allegedly stabbed in the chest at Matende village in the Kavango West Region.
Raimbert Muronga, the Namibian Police’s chief inspector in the region, confirmed the incident, which took place at around 13:00. The deceased was identified as Nunda Domingo. His next of kin have been informed.
According to Muronga, the victim was stabbed in the chest by an unknown suspect who used what is suspected to be a knife. Domingo was reportedly found lying on a bed in a room that is rarely used.
“Blood stains were observed all over his body,” Muronga said.
The victim died on the way to the hospital. Police investigations continue.
