Man rapes mentally-disabled daughter

A 47-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping his 18-year-old mentally-disabled daughter in the Ogongo constituency’s Ongulugumbe village.
The man appeared in court this week, but cannot be named to protect the identity of the victim.
Omusati Region police crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, said the rape took place last Wednesday at around 22:00 and again on Thursday morning.
Simaho said the suspect is the victim’s biological father, adding that no alcohol abuse was involved.
Police investigations into the matter continue.
