Man arrested for slitting another man's throat

A man was arrested on Monday for allegedly slitting a 50-year-old man’s throat in Nkurenkuru’s Maporeza location on Saturday.
Kavango West Region police chief inspector Raimbert Muronga confirmed the incident, which took place at around 20:00.
According to him, it is alleged that the suspect slit the victim's throat with an okapi knife at his homestead, where he was alone at the time.
“No clear indications leading to the gruesome act have been established as the victim is in critical condition at the moment. The victim has been admitted to Nankudu Hospital,” he said, adding the suspect is due to appear in the Rundu Magistrate’s Court this week.
Police investigations continue.
