#JustIn: Drugs worth more than N$600 000 confiscated
Namibian police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi has confirmed that the police seized drugs worth N$617 475.30 in June.
According to Shikwambi, this has prompted police to host a two-day campaign in Otjiwarongo this weekend to enforce drug laws, as well as educate the nation on the dangers of drugs.
In total, 148 Namibians, an Angolan, a Congolese and three Zambians have been arrested last month.
