Russian citizen Alexander Krylov and his Namibian accomplice, Anna Engelbrecht, were jointly found guilty today in the high court on 13 charges of rape and 15 charges of child trafficking.

The reading of the verdict lasted about five hours.

Krylov was found guilty on ten of the rape charges and ten of child trafficking. He was also found guilty on a charge of illegally providing tobacco to minors.

According to the state, Krylov in 2017 raped five minor girls, aged between 13 and 16, several times in Walvis Bay.

Engelbrecht apparently recruited victims for Krylov and took them to him to have sexual intercourse with.
