AT YOUR SERVICE: Community members in Ondangwa turned out in large numbers earlier this month to watch 1 780 new recruits take part in a street march marking the end of their training. They were accompanied by Police Inspector General Joseph Shikongo and Oshana regional commander Commissioner Naftal Lungameni Sakaria.



A special K9 police unit and their highly trained dogs also participated in the march. The dogs assist law enforcement with crucial tasks, including patrols, drug and explosives detection, search and rescue and suspect apprehension.
