Another newborn dumped at Walvis

The body of a newborn baby was discovered by municipal workers in Walvis Bay on Monday. Warrant officer Tuyenikelao Tashiya confirmed the incident, which occurred in Kuisebmond. "Municipal workers on duty discovered the body of the newborn baby in a drain and reported the matter to the police,” Tashiya said.
The baby's remains were retrieved from the drain and transported to the Walvis Bay State Hospital for certification and then to the police mortuary for a postmortem. No arrest has been made. Police investigations continue.
