Proverbs 31 as a professional woman - Part 28

Dear loyal readers, I trust you’re blessed and highly favoured.I give all glory, honour and praise to my Lord and King in all things. This column wouldn’t be possible without Him because it’s all unto Him first, before it’s unto us all.I’m deeply honoured and thankful to God for creating space in the Namibian Sun newspaper to reveal more of Himself. I’m humbled and honoured by the assignment to share Godly encouragement and transformational perspectives in the workplace through the articles on &#039;Proverbs 31 as a professional woman&#039; under the theme &#039;Embodying and Manifesting Godly Wisdom, Success Principles and Effortless Femininity in the Workplace”.Last year when I started writing this column, I grew with it and I had the distinct pleasure of engaging with like-minded people who were drawn to it as well.Workplace culture was being transformed with an understanding that in the morning, you don’t pray and leave God at home.Why does this matter?Because at all times, God is always present, it’s up to you to decide what to do with His Presence.He wants to be with you wherever you go and in whatever you do because He delights in every detail of the lives of the godly (Psalm 37:23). It’s up to you to decide whether to invite Him into all aspects of your life.Meaning that the expression and the revelation of His glory doesn’t have limits (see 1 Corinthians 10:31), and you shouldn’t try to limit God or the revelation of His glory either.Today I’m celebrating almost one year of this column – the first article was published on 31 January 2024 and my last article was published on 28 November 2024.For the series of articles on Proverbs 31 as a professional woman, I wrote 27 parts in which we discussed nine success principles. We still have 11 more success principles to discuss before we conclude the series with the topic of “effortless femininity in the workplace”.As I mentioned in part 27, the transformational articles on Proverbs 31 as a professional woman seek to recalibrate the spirit, soul and body as well as the private and professional life of the professional woman. Surprisingly, I had men encouraging me and supporting the column as well because the themes discussed are applicable to anyone who’s in alignment with God’s Word, will and purpose.I praise God for the fact that this column reached even rooms I hadn’t entered.I invite and encourage you to read the articles for background context, starting with the introduction as well as parts 1 to 27 on Proverbs 31 as a professional woman to see how God equips and empowers her as she navigates the unique demands, challenges and opportunities that come her way.In the article titled &#039;A New Season&#039;, I closed off with the following words:“So, in this new season, I have been healed and transformed by God and I’m now moving with a bold understanding of "knowing whose I am, knowing who I am and not being afraid of who I am and what I carry."I might not be qualified in the things of God, but God chooses who He uses and I’m certainly made for a time such as this.”Allow God to use you, even when you feel afraid or unqualified – He Himself qualifies you (Romans 8:30). He has a tendency of showing off with the ones you would least expect (1 Corinthians 1:27,Proverbs 3:5-7).Remain blessed and encouraged by God’s love.
