Uranium One donates vehicle to health ministry
Russian mining giant Uranium One Group, which is mooting in-situ uranium mining in the Omaheke Region, has donated a double-cab bakkie to the region's health ministry to improve access to health services for the community. Company spokesperson Riaan van Rooyen said the vehicle was donated to assist the ministry's doctor outreach programme in the region.
The vehicle will soon be used for outreach visits to Onderembapa and Corridor 13, which will be conducted by the chief regional medical officer, Dr Jonah ||Garoëb, accompanied by two dentists.
