In a landmark moment for Namibian leadership on the continental stage, Nangula Kauluma has been named CEO of FNB Retail Broader Africa within the FirstRand Group, a move that underscores the growing influence of Namibian talent in shaping Africa’s financial landscape. Kauluma, previously the CEO of FNB Namibia Retail Banking, steps into this pan-African role with a reputation for transformative leadership and a deep commitment to financial inclusion.



Kauluma’s appointment comes after a rigorous selection process, reflecting FirstRand’s confidence in her ability to drive innovation and growth across its operations in key African markets, including Botswana, Mozambique, Eswatini, Zambia, Lesotho, Nigeria, and Ghana.



A seasoned financial services executive, Kauluma brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Her tenure as CEO of FNB Namibia Retail Banking was marked by strategic foresight and a people-first approach, earning her widespread recognition, including the Namibian Businesswoman of the Year award from 2017 to 2019.
