Simply You Magazine will be hosting the fifth edition of its lifestyle and fashion awards on Saturday, 17 September, at the National Theatre of Namibia in Windhoek.This year, over 54 personalities were nominated in several categories. Voting - which opened in July - will come to end on Friday evening.The awards have been hosted by some of the best in the industry and this time around, one of Namibia’s gems will be gracing the stage as host. Director and actress Maria Nepembe take charge of the event, having been announced as the official host.The theme for this year is avant-garde, an opportunity for those attending the awards to dress up and shut it down. Known for hosting the event with one of the biggest red carpets in the country, you want to be on theme for the event.According to organisers, there are a few surprises lined up for Saturday, including some of the best artists in the Land of the Brave.The Simply You Magazine Lifestyle and Fashion Awards and its partners celebrate Namibian personalities for their love of their art, which contributes tremendously to the growth of various industries.Those who want to celebrate these personalities&#039; achievements can purchase a ticket at Webtickets for N$250.
