Rehoboth to rock with hip-hop festival tomorrow
FRESH OUTLOOK WITH HIP-HOP FESTIVAL: Rehoboth is gearing up for the Afrikaans Hip-Hop Festival that will be held tomorrow.
Big names in Namibian music, including artists Ixa (photo) and Jericho, are expected to perform at the festival, which organiser Amor McNab says is aimed at offering young people in the town an alternative to drug use.
The town has long struggled with substance abuse challenges, but McNab hopes the chance to perform alongside established artists will help inspire a more positive path for local youth.
