P!no steps into the spotlight with debut single ‘My Panado’
A fresh voice has joined Namibia’s vibrant music scene.
Rising talent P!no is making waves with his debut single, ‘My Panado’, an Amapiano love song featuring powerhouse vocalist Teqla, formerly known as Tequila.
The single, produced by award-winning hitmaker DJ Chronics, is already garnering buzz across social media and local music circles. The accompanying music video, also shot by DJ Chronics, has been met with a warm response, something the newcomer didn’t expect. “I honestly didn’t anticipate this level of love for my first offering,” P!no told tjil.
When asked how he would describe his sound, P!no said: “I mostly do Afrobeat with small touches of Amapiano. Mostly music for the youth. Music that will touch many hearts, hopefully.”
Talent in the house
With heartfelt lyrics and an infectious groove, ‘My Panado’ introduces P!no as a promising voice focused on uplifting and connecting with young listeners.
But he’s not stopping at a single. “I have plans for an album,” he revealed. “But for now, I want to release more singles with visuals to familiarise myself with fans. Once I’ve established my name, then the album will follow.”
His aspirations extend far beyond the charts. “My dream is to grab the attention of many Namibians,” he said. “I want to put Namibia on the map. Many listen to music from outside, but there’s talent right here.”
P!no also hopes to one day collaborate with Namibian music heavyweights like Patrick Sikiliza from PDK, Blank (formerly Anchux of Ama Dazz Floor), and Page Ethnix – artists he credits for inspiring his work.
With ‘My Panado’, P!no makes a bold, heartfelt introduction, proving that Namibia’s next generation of stars is ready to shine.
