LAUNCHED: In a move to foster national identity and economic growth through artistic and cultural expression, the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture on Monday, 17 March launched the Namibia Arts, Culture, and Heritage Policy 2025/26 - 2029/30 in Windhoek. The policy was officially introduced by Education Minister Anna Nghipondoka, who emphasized its role in preserving and celebrating Namibia’s diverse cultural heritage. “The vision of this policy and of the ministry is to nurture, develop, and celebrate the cultures, heritage, and artistic and cultural expressions of all Namibians,” Nghipondoka said. “By harnessing these for human, social, and economic development, we aim to contribute to a better quality of life for all our citizens.”
