Namibian creatives showcasing at Intra-African Trade Fair
Hosted in Egypt for its 2023 edition, the Intra-African Trade Fair, a pivotal gathering for business and trade across the continent, is taking place from 9 to 15 November.
The spotlight is on five remarkable creatives selected as winners of Fabrica Namibia’s Make-A-Thon.
Among them are Othilia Tutu Mungoba, a visionary creative director and filmmaker; Jeandre Groenewald, skilled in 3D printing, computer-aided design, and web development; Rosali Neshuku, a textile and bag manufacturer; and Frieda Popyeni Amadhila, a talented gemstone jeweller. Their artistic endeavours and entrepreneurial spirit have earned them the privilege of representing Namibia at this prestigious event.
In addition to showcasing their works, the Namibian contingent will participate in a series of master classes and presentations focused on entrepreneurial development and creative digital innovations. This enriching experience is facilitated by Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX), the creative industry support arm of the Intra-African Trade Fair.
Namibia's presence adds a distinctive flair to this gathering, celebrating the nation's vibrant creative community on the continental stage.
