Ma/Gaisa Rumbles in the City tonight

Tonight Windhoek’s Zoo Park plays host to Ma/Gaisa Rumble in the City, a musical celebration uniting Namibia’s beloved traditional and contemporary artists.

Organised by Hoadadi Trading, the event takes place today as from at 17:00, and promises an outdoor, family-friendly concert experience.

For the first time, veteran duo Raphael & Pele (Marus / Gereseb) will share the stage with modern icons T-Bozz & Staika (Nami / Ae Di Aokha), merging deep Ma/Gaisa roots with contemporary flair.

Event organiser Webster Snewe says the goal is to revive outdoor live performances that celebrate Namibian creativity and provide safe, communal music spaces.

Attendees can expect live performances, cultural flair, local food stalls, and vibrant community engagement, appealing to both longtime fans and newcomers.

Tickets start from N$100, and organisers emphasise that strong security will be in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable evening.
