The sounds and basslines within the first 30 seconds take you back. ‘Aweh’ also means ‘hello’ or ‘what’s up’."“I wanted to capture that exciting moment when two people meet for the first time, especially in that 90s setting, being picked up from your mum’s house, dressed up cutely, with Michael Jackson playing in the background,” she said.Organic The momentum only grew from there. After Nyovest heard the song during a Twitch livestream and showed love to it, the remix came together organically.Speaking to Hype Magazine, lordkez shared how it all happened.“Cassper reached out to me when he heard the song and said he was keen to do the remix. The original “Aweh” has officially been certified gold by RiSA (Recording Industry of South Africa), while the remix has gone double platinum.On top of that, “You, Me &amp; The 90s” has also reached platinum status, giving the artist three major wins at once.
