#JustIn: Drag Night’s homecoming renaissance

The 2023 Drag Night grand finale is set for Saturday, 2 December at Goethe-Institut Namibia with an extravagant soirée themed ‘Homecoming Renaissance.’

Known for indisputable quality entertainment that creates conversation, Drag Night’s final instalment for 2023, promises all that glitters.

Speaking to Namibian Sun, musician Lize Ehlers one of the organisers highlighted that this edition of Drag Night is a homecoming celebration of love, acceptance, ferocity, and brilliance. “Come for the ‘Ooh Ah, Ah Sensation’ and the beating hearts behind the flawless makeup and intentional performances, as we celebrate Namibian Pride with slithers of silver,” said Lize Ehlers, adding that the night will be filled with glamour, entertainment, and a celebration of diversity featuring your beloved queens, kings, and ally performers.

Lize Ehlers also shared that the dress code is silver or rainbow excellence, with the best dressed set to win a prize. Early bird tickets are available through web tickets for N$150, while at the door the damage will be N$150. Pre-sale ends at midnight on Friday, 1 December.
