HER Era Brunch to celebrate Namibia’s female leadership
As Namibia has entered a historic chapter under its first female president, a new women-focused experience is being curated to honour and elevate the many forms of feminine leadership shaping the nation.
HER Era, a women’s empowerment networking brunch, is set to take place on Saturday, 14 June 2025 at Francesco Restaurant in Windhoek. Themed “Celebrating Women Who Lead,” the event is part of The Jiggy Jamboree - the events leg of Tandari Investment CC, known for its signature call to “experience something different.”
Conceptualised by multidisciplinary creative and atmosphere architect Jemimah Ndebele, the gathering brings together women across sectors for a morning of meaningful connection, creative expression, and collective celebration. The panel conversation will feature Niita Shikongo, Veronica Mungonena, Dr. Nandiuasora Kaangundue, and Cassia Sharpley, each representing a unique lens of leadership in wellness, business, advocacy and mentorship.
The brunch also includes spoken word performances by Felicity The Poet and Thor, with live music from Gun Jade, Gracie Dynamite, and Prime-Rose, weaving in elements of art and affirmation.
“Winter is upon us, and HER Era was designed with warmth in mind - not just in conversation, but in experience,” said Ndebele. “As a morning affair, we wanted to create something soft, thoughtful, and grounding. Tickets include a curated gift bag, a mini fleece, a breakfast buffet and welcoming mimosas.”
