Exit's deal with Betzilla Namibia under scrutiny
Betzilla Namibia, a leading local betting company, is reevaluating its partnership with award-winning artist and brand ambassador Exit Rockaz. The internal review follows reports of the artist’s heated response to enquiries about two Namibian asylum seekers in the United Kingdom accused of shoplifting.
The individuals, reportedly involved in organising a show Exit headlined last year, are alleged to have engaged in a shoplifting spree. When questioned, Exit reportedly lost his composure, drawing criticism from the public and media.
In a statement, Betzilla Namibia expressed disappointment, emphasising its commitment to integrity. “Betzilla Namibia is deeply disappointed by the recent headlines involving our brand ambassador, Exit Rockaz. As a company that values integrity and professionalism, we take such matters seriously."
The company said further updates will be shared "as we conclude our review".
Exit, known for his electrifying performances and strong influence in the music industry, has not yet publicly commented on the alleged incident.
