EU Film Festival opens in Windhoek with focus on youth
PREMIERE: The 2025 European Union Film Festival premiered in Windhoek on Wednesday, 3 September, under the theme 'Opportunities for Youth'.
Opening with the acclaimed Danish comedy-drama ‘Miss Viborg’, the festival runs until 29 October at Ster Kinekor Cinema, Maerua Mall, with nine European films shown weekly, every Wednesday.
This year’s edition will close with two Namibian productions and a panel discussion, highlighting local voices alongside European storytelling.
