Enter now for international Youth Video Festival
The United Nations (UN) announced that entries for this year's PLURAL Youth Video Festival are now open.
The deadline is 30 June 2023.
PLURAL, a joint initiative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), invites content creators aged 25 and younger to submit original and creative videos of five minutes or less in which the themes of migration, diversity, social inclusiveness and other global issues are scrutinized.
Through an international judging panel of renowned experts and media personalities, UNAOC and IOM will jointly award PLURAL distinctions to one outstanding video in each of the three age categories (under 12; 13 to 17; and 18 to 25 years old).
In addition, three special recognitions will be awarded this year: special recognition for combating xenophobia and discrimination; special recognition for sport for one humanity; and special recognition for migrants' contributions to societies.
UNAOC hopes to receive videos from young people from all over the world.
