Savanna Comedy Hour marks five years of laughter

The FNCC was filled with laughter as Wilbard the Comedian, Courage the Comedian, Zita, Iileka, Dennis Kaunda, Lifa, Axarob and Aubametax took to the stage for the anniversary show.

Savanna Comedy Hour was founded by four friends – Ndelitunga Shikongeni, Kevin Kimaro, Aloys Murorua and Vernon Van Wyk, who came together five years ago with the idea of creating a comedy hour.

During the final set of the evening, Kimaro reflected on how the platform began, explaining that they decided to build the comedy hour around the “funnier guy”, Aloys Murorua, better known as Axarob.

The founders also used the anniversary celebration to thank their sponsors and everyone who has contributed to the platform’s growth over the years.

They expressed their appreciation to the audiences who have consistently made time to attend their shows and support the comedians.

The five-year milestone highlighted the journey of Savanna Comedy Hour and the role its founders, performers, sponsors and audiences have played in keeping the platform going. [email protected]
