Parents who attended the Pioneers Park Primary School sport day over the weekend sang Parkies' praises for a well-organised event. Several schools from Windhoek and other towns gathered in the capital for the prestigious day. The event saw schools participating in various sport codes which included football and rugby, with age categories ranging from under-nine to under-13. “It was indeed a well-organised event and I just want to thank the school for giving an opportunity to my daughter to come and compete here,” parent Michelle Thomas said. Orban, Berg-Op, Windhoek Afrikaans Private School, St Georges, Gobabis and Windhoek Gymnasium all graced the event with their presence. PHOTO: Namibia Media Holdings
