N$500k cannabis stash found hidden in bush

A significant drug discovery was made on Friday evening near Ariamsvlei when a farmworker accidentally stumbled on a Feedmaster bag stuffed with cannabis with an estimated value of over half a million Namibian dollars.
The incident occurred at around 18:30 on a farm called Uitkoms.
According to the police, the farmworker was herding sheep when he noticed a large green bag concealed in a bush.
After reporting the find, authorities discovered five parcels of pure cannabis, weighing a total of 10.605 kg.
The police suspect that the drugs may have been hidden by drug dealers attempting to smuggle them across the border.
