Karibib schoolboy stabbed to death

A 16-year-old teenager was found dead on a footpath between Karibib and the Usab location on Saturday morning.
According to Erongo police, the body of the Grade 10 learner at Karibib Junior Secondary School was discovered around 06:00 by a security guard en route to work.
The teenager had sustained two stab wounds to the back, believed to have been inflicted with a sharp object. His cell phone was missing from the scene.
Police confirmed that the body was initially taken to the Usakos State Hospital mortuary and will be transferred to the Walvis Bay Police mortuary for a post-mortem.
The next of kin have been informed.
No arrests had been made at the time of reporting, and a murder investigation is underway.
