CONTINENTAL RECOGNITION: Three Namibian films have been nominated for the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) set to take place in Nigeria this May. The nominees are ‘Lukas’ by Dr. Phillipe Talavera, ‘Walvis Tale’ by Tim Hübschle, and ‘Skeleton Coast’ by Mondjila Studios. ‘Skeleton Coast’, co-produced with Nigeria’s Play Network Studios, leads with eight nominations.
